Vancouver AV project management and live event production for conferences, corporate meetings, concerts and theatre, managed end to end. Twenty years in the room, and the connections to pull any show together in this city. If the client is happy, I'm happy.
I manage the technical side of events so planners, venues and AV companies can breathe. I have run high-profile productions at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver and across the city's hotels, theatres and concert venues, coordinated feature-film VFX pipelines, and shipped polished games through rigorous quality control. I know every corner of AV, I am relentlessly organized, and I am deeply connected to the crew, gear and venues that make Vancouver events happen. Most managers protect the schedule. I protect the show and the schedule at once, because I have stood in the room as the photographer, the technician, the coordinator and the operator. I know what a great event is supposed to feel like, and exactly what it takes to deliver it on time, on spec and under pressure.
If the client is happy, I'm happy.
Multi-day conferences, AGMs, summits and corporate meetings. General sessions, breakouts, staging, screens and show calling, run cleanly from load-in to load-out.
Product launches, awards nights, galas and hotel ballroom events. Polished, on-brand production that makes the room and the client look exceptional.
Concert and live-music production with the venue and promoter relationships to back it up. Sound, lighting, stage and crew coordination from a working pit photographer's eye.
Technical direction and production management for theatre and staged shows. Cues, crew, and a calm hand on the desk when the house is full.
Contract operations leadership for AV companies and venues. Floor management, labor planning, gear logistics, work-order review and vendor relations.
Help your team stand up or sharpen its AV operation. Staffing models, workflows, service standards and crew mentoring from someone who has built and run the floor.
The whole job is making the client look great and feel calm. If the client is happy, I'm happy. Everything else is in service of that.
Audio, video, lighting, projection, rigging and staging. I am fluent across the whole stack, so nothing falls through the cracks on my watch.
Sixteen-plus years in Vancouver's live scene means I know the venues, the crews, the vendors and the promoters. I can pull a show together fast.
Schedules, run-of-show, labor plans and budgets, tight and clear. I cut the chaos out of complex events so the day runs smooth.
